Session record: 2026-10-16

This record covers the work in this session and links to the earlier project records. It does not report a new run of the game tests or a new website deployment.

Game implementation and recorded experiment results Game README

The existing project teaches Assembly and Fortran through a shared language lens. Assembly runs the game. Modern Fortran supplies tables and checks the game results. The previous records describe the sine, perspective, rotation, and decimal-counter experiments. The new research collection does not change those lessons, programs, or game decisions.

The owner requested a check with the GitHub CLI (gh). GitHub main, local main, and the cached remote reference matched this commit at the initial check:

d44a23999c8a9369126df0602eda36d53bcbe0ef

The working tree was clean at that time. A later check during this documentation task found the same local and GitHub commit. The session changes remain local and uncommitted. Thus, matching commit IDs do not mean the current working tree matches GitHub.

The owner requested five document imports and a split by two purposes:

  • Material whose claims can be checked.
  • Material that can become learning areas.

The first implementation copied the sources and made 139 heading-based parts. It added blank worksheets and keyword-based learning tags. That implementation did not identify the actual claims or learning units. The owner requested an independent Astra review, which confirmed the gap.

Astra then decomposed the correction into eight tasks with ownership and completion conditions. A Sol orchestrator assigned two content workers and integrated their catalogs. The decomposition plan records those tasks. Root and Astra reviewed the draft catalogs and returned concrete defects for correction. These included omitted table values, wrong source ranges, truncated formulas, duplicate records, and learning goals assigned to the wrong topics. The final repairs addressed the identified defects. Those reviews did not establish the truth of the scientific claims. The first heading-based output remains in the legacy folder for traceability.

Short internal names prevent a collision with the older review/segments/deep-research-report.md. The manifest records original names, portal paths, encoding, size, and SHA-256 hashes. All five archived sources retain their original bytes.

Output Result
Research entry point Navigation and data conventions
Authored catalogs Classifications, propositions, evidence requests, assumptions, and exact ranges
Generated units 132 units with source excerpts and review content
Claim index 353 unchecked records, with factual assertions, proposals, and judgments distinguished
Learning areas 116 goals with prerequisites and claim dependencies
Relationships 13 links between related claims or review objections
Unresolved markers 104 imported citation-marker occurrences
Image metadata One extracted PNG, 1200 × 896 pixels and 628,214 bytes
Builder and checker Catalog rendering and integrity checks

The source image remains unchanged, with its data URI also preserved in the archive. The flattened Fermi guide uses Unicode character offsets because line numbers alone cannot locate its passages precisely. The catalogs preserve source limitations and unresolved citation markers. No external fact-check, finished lesson, game change, or website integration formed part of this work.

The owner authorized deletion of the five Downloads originals after the repository copies passed a content check. All five files still existed directly in /home/kkk/Downloads before cleanup. Each file matched its corresponding archived source by SHA-256. The cleanup checked all five matches before it deleted any file.

The cleanup deleted the five matching Downloads files. A second check confirmed their absence and checked all five repository hashes again. The cleanup record records each path, hash, result, and the UTC check time.

The earlier supplied paths used a read-only document portal. That portal prevented deletion through those paths, but it did not prevent deletion through the actual Downloads paths. No repository source or unrelated Downloads file was deleted.

The implementation checks covered schema, hashes, complete source coverage, line ranges, references, image dependencies, and repeated generation. The recorded implementation run also checked the image visually, Python compilation, new prose, and Git whitespace. The final source ranges and specific content repairs received focused review. These checks establish data integrity and organization. They do not verify the scientific claims.

This documentation task repeated the source-integrity and Downloads absence checks. Both passed. All session links resolved. The builder check and Git whitespace check also passed. The three changed prose files passed the direct STE check. This session record scored 0.83 findings per 100 words. The repository prose script and shared baseline repeated their existing failures. The baseline checks tracked files only. The new session record received a separate direct prose check.

The earlier shared baseline reported an existing F541 finding at review/segments/split_documents.py:422. It also reported incomplete Rust, TypeScript, or JSX checks. The repository prose script reported existing failures in instruction and skill files. The protected source documents and generated files in review/segments/ remain unchanged. No commit, push, pull request, merge, or deployment occurred in this session.

At the owner’s request, an Astra agent reproduced and documented the existing repository checks. The findings and repair plan records three prose failures, one Ruff finding, and a separate TypeScript-check limitation. It also records the tracked-file coverage limits and local validation prerequisites. No fixes, installations, builds, commits, or deployments formed part of that review. The report proposes a bounded repair sequence with acceptance conditions.
